Aruba is one of the most popular and visited islands in the southern Caribbean – and for good reason. Fantastic beaches ring the island and great natural beauty is found at its exotic national wildlife park. Oranjestad is the capital and largest city on Aruba – and makes for a friendly introduction to the island whether arriving by boat or flight. The glitz, trendy cafes, fancy restaurants and 5 star hotels of the south coast give way to an austere beauty as you move north. And all around are the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.
Best time to visit Aruba: Escape the crowds and cruise ships but still get great weather in May, June, July and August.
