Family friendly hotels and resorts in Cabo San Lucas
Villa La Estancia
If you’re not necessarily looking for a great deal, this is an outstanding choice. There are several pools, the service is great and the food worthy of the fine beach setting. As guests of Villa La Estancia you can use the facilities at both neighboring hotels, with more swimming pools and even water slides. Cabo is a beautiful 10 or 15 minute walk along the beach.
Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort
A mixed bag but families certainly enjoy their stay. The layout, the rooms and the swimming pools (one of them a kids pool) all get accolades. The distance from town and lackluster restaurants give some travelers reservations.
The Bungalows Hotel
The Bungalows gets raves for being both a great deal and a fantastic hotel. Eric and his family make guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. The pros: great breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful swimming pool. The cons: only one, the location has some wishing it were closer to the beach and a little quieter.
Hacienda del Mar Vacation Club
A bit of a trek to get into town, but other than that this resort is incredibly family friendly. Great grounds, wonderful swimming pools, fabulous (but expensive) food. The whales are easily visible from shore and units have kitchens of varying size.
Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos
Great breakfast, great food, friendly staff and 5 fantastic pools (all shallow and kid friendly). As with many resorts in the area, the beach is beautiful but not swimmable. Kids club is free for guests.
Playa Grande Resort
A beautiful setting close to town. Several great restaurants nearby keep kids and adults happy during their stay. Cascading pools and friendly service gives families plenty of reason to return.
